Make an impact in a diverse, urban environment! We are looking for dedicated and caring teachers to complement our dynamic team of educators in Alhambra. You will be responsible for establishing learning objectives, determining the appropriate program of study, and providing instruction based on established objectives and individual student needs. Our teachers motivate students and maintain high expectations for each child. Instructional Coaches are also available to provide support and mentoring for teachers new to Alhambra. In addition, training and professional development will be available for all programs!

Our innovative and dynamic approach to 21st-century learning also includes a variety of speciality campuses.  Choice Learning Academy offers scholars the opportunity to be empowered by project-based learning and offers opportunities in Entrepreneurship, the Arts, and Business. AESD also offers an Interbaccaluarte candidate school (Global Academy of Phoenix), a newcomer school welcoming refugees and immigrants new to America (Valencia Newcomer School), and a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon school (Alhambra Traditional School). And, of course, we also offer twelve additional campuses that families can select from that offer robust programs, education, and extracurriculars for students. The Alhambra salary and benefits are one of the most lucrative in the state. We compensate for all levels of education and do give credit for years of experience. We have a hiring bonus (of up to $2000) for Special Education candidates!

Beginning Salary: $51,000

Performance Pay: The performance pay amount for the school year 24-25, is pending our governing board approval. It was up to $3600.00 for the 2023-2024 school year.
