7th Grade Math Teacher: Long-Term Substitute

MS 915/Bridges is a diverse middle school in downtown Brooklyn, serving students from across District 13. MS 915 is a learning community dedicated to honoring the potential of middle school students and to supporting each student’s growth, to exploration and creativity, to academic and personal excellence, and to social progress, engagement and justice. We are committed to the intellectual, artistic, moral, emotional, social and physical development of each student and we value each other as thoughtful co-creators of a vibrant, interdependent community.

We have approximately 325 students, ICT and a full array of special education services, and are proud to host a D75 shared instruction program. Our students engage in multi-disciplinary intensives called Explorations twice a year where they explore questions such as “Can art change the world?” and “Is our relationship with animals ethical?” Above all, we strive to be a loving community where middle school students can grow and thrive.

We seek collegial, passionate teachers who are committed to teaching adolescents with culturally-sustaining pedagogy in an engaging, creative environment. We currently have an opening for a long-term substitute for Seventh Grade Math.
