STEM Instructor
Principia Tutors & Consultants is seeking a personable math and science tutor with excellent communication skills and a love for helping students!
A bit about us: We're a one-stop shop for our student's educational needs, covering all academic subjects, test prep, and college consulting. Our team is a group of empathetic and excellent communicators, and we're looking for a teacher who prides themselves on their attention to detail, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Schedule & Hours:
- Weekdays and weekend availability required during non-school hours
- 15-20 hrs/week consistent availability
- One year minimum commitment
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Warm, friendly demeanor that creates a welcoming environment for students and families
- Comfortability with students from upper elementary through high school
- Knowledge of AP Calc AB and BC along with at least one of the following: AP Physics 1, 2, C, AP Biology, or AP Chemistry
- Ability to teach test prep up through SAT/ACT math; we can provide training as well
- Familiarity with Slack and Google Suite (training will be provided)
