The Events Coordinator position is a rewarding role which works directly with our clients to create the event of their dreams. They are responsible for overseeing and facilitating private events including weddings, memorial services, corporate outings, and any other private events. In addition, they provide additional support for The Fells Signature Events. 

This position is full-time seasonal position with the potential of going year-round. 

Responsibilities include: 
§ Cultivating and responding to event inquiries
§ Conducting venue tours for prospective parties 
§ Scheduling events and drawing up venue rental agreements 
§ Manage vendors and ensure that current insurance documents are on file. 
§ Working with staff and outside vendors such as wedding planners, caterers, bartenders, and equipment rental firms 
§ Be the staff member on site during private events as an Ambassador to The Fells

Other responsibilities can include: 
• Assist with Main House preparation for opening at the beginning of the season 
• Assist with publicity using social media platforms
 • Assist with Christmas at The Fells 
• Assist with Main House Closing at the end of the season 

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high level of diplomacy, customer service and good will, have excellent oral and written communications skills, and attention to detail.
