Financial Representative: Entry Level - Farmingdale, NY

Our introductory program allows you to transition into a full-time Financial Representative immediately upon graduation, ideal for upcoming graduates, allowing you to:

  • Start Full Time in a meaningful career
  • Build your client base through prospecting and networking
  • Obtain your Life, Accident, and Health insurance license
  • Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals
  • Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations
  • Gain exposure to planning software platforms
  • Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings

 

As a Northwestern Mutual Advisor, you can expect a flexible schedule to work around life. With our entry level program, you can continue to grow your practice and obtain support for registrations and certifications such as the Series 6 & 63 or CFP® within your first year as a Financial Representative.   • Current student anticipated to graduate in May 2024.
  • Located in the Long Island area
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity for sales
  • Highly involved on campus (leader, campus orgs, student government, etc.)
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills
  • Interest in financial literacy and planning tools
  • Our business model and culture allow for athletes, naturally competitive, and high-performing individuals to thrive and succeed in growing their business
  • Business savvy and driven to succeed.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Average First year Advisor OTE of $57,000+
  • $250 Weekly Development Stipends (first 12 weeks)
  • Commissions based on product sales (unlimited earning capacity)
  • Productivity Bonuses of $500 or $1000
  • Sponsorship to obtain NYS Life, Accident, and Health license
  • Support for SIE, Series 6, Series 63 registrations (eligibility required)
  • Business Accelerator Program – opportunity to earn up to $11,000 in performance bonus

 

Location & Training Dates:

  • Our office is located on in Farmingdale, New York
  • 100% In person training, hybrid model after (3 days in office/week)
  • Training dates in early June 2024
