Software Engineering/Developer Internship

Element Solutions serves as a consulting partner at the intersection
between innovation and our clients’ needs, efficiently crafting meaningful
user-experiences for government and commercial customers. Our team
brings years of deep domain experience working with CMS stakeholders
to make it easier for those seeking health care to find coverage and care
that works for them. Our projects include work to improve the experience
of those receiving care for end-stage kidney disease, management of the
healthcare.gov ecosystem in the lead up to open enrollment every year,
and the measurements of quality care in hospital systems around the
U.S.
As we expand our offerings with health care providers, we seek an
aspiring Software Engineering Intern to work with our engineers and UX
team members this semester.

As a Software Engineering Intern you will:

Embed with each of our development teams to gain exposure to both the
front-end and back-end tools and systems that power the American
healthcare experience. You will pick up tickets, work to solve complex
problems, review and ship code among some of the most innovative
experienced engineers at Element Solutions. As a software engineer
intern you will be involved in the entire lifecycle of our product
development - working with team members from ideation to design and
ultimately execution. The ideal candidate for this position will have a
passion for development and a desire to work in a variety of technical
languages. The candidate will also currently be pursuing a degree in
computer science or information systems. This internship will provide you
with exposure and training in a multitude of languages and could lead to
full-time employment if you are a rising senior.

What is the pay range for this position? The job will pay between
$15-$20 per hour
How many hours per week will I be working? Interns work between 5-12
hours per week (on average ~40 hours per month)

Is there a physical office I will need to report to? Nope! We are a remote-
first company with a presence in the D/M/V area. Your teammates work

from home too, though have been known to head to Dupont Circle for co-
working when needed.
