Graduate - Audi Region Sales Analyst (Central / Western)

This is an accelerated graduate program designed for high potential, highly-mobile, and candidates with strong interest in the automotive industry, including automotive finance. The selected individual will rotate through three placements over an exciting 18 month period. This program is not a shadow experience and individuals will be exposed to hands on training in all aspects of the business.

Role Summary

To provide the employee with a broad-based immersion into Audi Sales Operations with rotations through key experiences in two Audi regional teams. The analyst will be challenged to learn and proactively participate in projects and tasks focused on developing and analyzing data to create value added opportunities and solve problems. This role will also encourage and test the individual’s ability to positively interact and collaborate with various departments within Audi Sales Operations, the larger Audi of America business units as well as dealers and vendor partners to drive value and achievement of the Brand’s goals and objectives.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Retail Analytics and competitive benchmarking (35%)
  • Program Coordination (35%)
  • Visualization and Administrative Ad hoc support (30%)

Rotation 1

  • Support the Region with sales, inventory, and wholesale analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Develop and automate reports for field and dealer network that will help track KPIs to be used to help improve conversations with dealers and improve insight on current trends
  • Support the Region Operations Specialist on daily tasks and liaise with HQ Sales Operations on forecasting, budget and report development

Rotation 2

  • Support the New Vehicle Sales Operations with allocations, loaner vehicle program requests, and accessory assignments
  • Support the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) business with vehicle market share and pre-owned inventory analysis

Rotation 3

  • Support the Region Operations Specialist on daily tasks and liaise with HQ Sales Operations on forecasting, budget and report development
  • Work shadow ASM, ASM and AD on dealer visits and complete Contact Reports post visit
  • Prepare presentations for internal and dealer meetings that demonstrate key business objectives for each meeting

 

Preferred Degree

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain & Operations or similar major

Specialized Skills: Knowledge or certifications unique to this role

  • Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office tools, including Power Point and Excel
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of data analytics tools as well visualization tools such as Tableau

Skills: General skills needed to perform the job

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail
  • A strong desire to learn, ask questions and take on new challenges
