Summer 2024 Supply Chain Internship

OmniMax is seeking summer interns to support key areas of our business. 

 

We offer a hands-on work environment and seek talented employees who crave learning new skills and aren't afraid to tackle big projects. As a Summer Intern, you will meet with a variety of our staff while working on real projects that will help us grow. 

 

Corporate Supply Chain Interns Summer 2024 

 

Two excellent internship opportunities exist at OmniMax International corporate headquarters for a highly motivated professional who would like to work with a dynamic Supply Chain or Procurement team. The ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and display strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Supplier Code of Conduct rollout – working with our supply base to complete the code of conduct and store in our contract system 
  • Supplier ESG reporting – working with our supply base to identify recycled content in the products they supply us, build database for future reporting 
  • ATP rollout – support BU as we rollout this functionality in Oracle, would give good exposure to working on project teams and with Oracle 
  • S&OP rollout –process rollout of new oracle tool, could lead a specific workstream, eg training. 
  • Indirect Sourcing – lead a project under mentorship to reduce cost in a specific indirect area – Telecom audit, Energy Audit 
  • Direct Sourcing – support direct lead on a sourcing project, including supplier negotiations, contract management and financial analysis 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Current enrollment in any of the following programs: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administrations with an Operations focus relevant area of study 
  • Completion of at least 60 semester hours or its equivalent at the time of participation in the program. 
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application. 
  • Housing is not provided

You will participate in training during the first week of your internship. This training program will expose you to the OmniMax culture and provide a knowledge base to draw upon throughout the remainder of your internship — and beyond. Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for full-time employment after graduation. 

 

This program will begin approximately May 13th and will end approximately August 23rd.  

OMNIMAX DOES NOT PROVIDE HOUSING
