Consultant/Sr. Consultant_Forecasting

Brief introduction:

If you are keen to work on analytical problem-solving with a consultative approach, we have multiple openings in the commercial analytics space and assist some of the major pharma companies in making strategic decisions.

 

Designation name & Description:

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, you are expected to lead and manage projects and clients onshore.

The commercial analytics Consultant/Senior Consultant is responsible for methodology design and helps run the analysis using a data-centric approach. Day to day role involves leveraging some of the patient-level data/claims data and generating insights as an active feed to decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the team on understanding the business questions based on the indication of nuisances in detail
  • Analyze different pharmaceutical/life sciences data sets like claims data, electronic medical records, anonymous patient-level data, prescription data & sales data, and promotional data.
  • Communicate and present the outcomes to clients and extended stakeholders
  • Develop client relationships and serve as an onshore key point of contact for the project process automation using SQL/Python/Other available technologies/ETL Tools etc

Qualification and pre-requisites:

  • Undergraduate with Life Sciences background or Engineering
  • Pharma D / MS Pharma /
  • 4 and above years of pharma/life science consulting job experience
  • Highly motivated, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Up to 2 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • A descent background/ working knowledge around oncology therapy area is an advantage and is preferred
  • Adherence to client-specific data privacy and compliance policies
  • Strong analytical background. Previous background or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry; experiences with pharmaceutical brands to be advantageous-
  • Ability to interpret and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data points, and hypotheses. building with strong Excel, PPT, and MS skills.
  • Conduct independent desktop-based research for a particular disease therapy from various secondary sources (Researching assumptions on prevalent/treated population patient types, market segmentation, compliance, etc.)
  • Knowledge of various commonly used transactional data assets and others including Volumes/ Value, Rx, Specialty level, and Longitudinal Patient level data assets.
