Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Intern (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part in supporting the DEI Division in executing on our Strategy, by rotating through three areas during your internship. Possible rotation opportunities are Operations, Governance, Reporting & Analytics, Communications, Workforce Diversity, Supplier Diversity and Outreach and Engagement. Rotations will be based on both your interest and the business needs at the time.

  • Have exposure to all facets of DEI while supporting the Operations of the division.
  • Provide support for targeted employee experiences from ideation to planning and execution.
  • Support project management DEI initiatives across Freddie Mac.
  • Participate and support Freddie Mac community events.

 

Qualifications:

  • Major: Human Resources, Marketing/Communications
  • Graduating in either December 2024 or May 2025
  • Strong customer centric mindset
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to provide clear, concise, and timely responses both written and verbal

 

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Desire to personally engage with customers (clients) to learn and deliver on their needs
  • Deliver on results rather than the appearance of results (i.e., be good, not just look good)
  • Intellectual agility and interpersonal flexibility
  • Ability to work across silos and levels

 

Interns are paid at a set, non-negotiable hourly rate. The hourly rate for this role is $32/hour.
