Public Transit Summer Internship
About the Program:
The objective of the GCRTA Public Transit Summer Internship is to provide college students and recent graduates the opportunity to learn about a career in public transit by working closely with a public transit professional on a meaningful project. The summer internship will run from May 28 – August 2, 2024.
Selected candidates will receive practical experience in the public sector by contributing to a department that adds direct value to the Authority. Interns will get exposure to public transit operations, data analysis, public speaking, professional development, and more. Leaders across the organization will provide guidance and mentorship, as well as insight into what a career in public transit could look like.

As our future intern, you are:
Educated. You must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate courses at an accredited institution, with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher; or recently graduated (within 18 months of May 2024). Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Committed. You have a desire to fulfill a paid ($20/hour), 10-week commitment to the internship and learn more about how a career in transit may be right for you.
