Per Diem - QI Data Coordinator (up to 16 hours)

The Quality Improvement Data Coordinator will be responsible for:     

• Managing and presenting data
• Provides data support for aggregation of healthcare data including quality, patient, financial to support departmental reporting needs.
• Providing basic data coordination and data entry services for quality improvement projects supported by the department.
• Supporting quality improvement reporting for data review, quality control checks, and/or interim and final analysis.
• Contributing to the development of databases and data management standards and serving as an internal resource on data coordination procedures.
• Providing administrative and technical support to quality improvement faculty for development of educational tools and training materials for quality improvement project and data management curricula.
• Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments, divisions, programs and other organizations.
• Ensuring quality improvement work in the department is performed in conformance with established hospital, program, federal, and state policies and procedures.

To qualify, you must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Mathematics or related field
• Knowledge of basic data management software e.g. SPSS, MS, Excel.
• May not have any formal QI experience or training, though open to learning and being an active member of the team
• Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
