Japanese Translator

Technical Language Service (TLS), a translation company based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is looking for candidates who could be trained to become Japanese-English translators and join our existing team of in-house translators, proofreaders, and editors as full-time employees.

To enter our training program, the candidate must have a high level of proficiency in Japanese, be easy to communicate with, have sufficient knowledge to be able to handle complicated and/or ambiguous grammatical structures and complex subject matters, have the skills necessary to research new subjects, and be tolerant of feedback. You will be paid an entry-level per-word rate for your translations while in training, and a higher rate thereafter.
