Needham & Company is looking to hire first year analysts from the 2024 undergraduate class to work full-time in our Investment Banking Group in Miami.

Job Description:
Under the direction of senior bankers, analysts work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time, with primary responsibilities including producing analytical work for clients and supporting the deal process from origination to execution. Specific responsibilities include: analyzing data and presenting conclusions, analyzing clients’ financial and operational performance and building financial models. Analysts will also assist in the preparation of general, industry and company specific quantitative reports, drafting marketing materials and producing other transaction and execution related documentation.
During their tenure, analysts will develop:
- A strong knowledge of business, finance, accounting and economics
- A keen understanding of financial statement analysis and company valuation techniques
- Excellent analytical and research skills and a particular attention to detail
- Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)

Analysts can expect to work on financings including Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on Offerings, Private Placements and advisory services including Mergers & Acquisitions in the Software & Services, Internet & Digital Media, Healthcare, Industrial Technology, and Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment industries.
