Program Description:

Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program spans 10 weeks, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.

 

Job Description:

Blackstone’s Real Estate Private Equity Group offers Summer Analysts experience on a professional team whose work involves the acquisition and asset management of real estate-related companies, portfolios of real estate assets and individual properties worldwide. Summer Analysts at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of private equity real estate investing and can expect to be staffed on several teams at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Summer Analysts are expected to assume integral roles on deal teams. Summer Analysts are involved with the development, structuring, strategy, and underwriting of transactions and regularly attend both internal and external meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.

 

Summer Analysts focused on acquisitions will develop an investing skillset through working on a wide range of transactions including asset, portfolio, and company leveraged buyouts. Summer Analysts in acquisitions will play an integral role in the investment process and assist in deal sourcing, LBO modeling, conducting due diligence, and presenting to Blackstone executives and partners at investment committee for final deal approval.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Real estate and public company valuation analysis
  • Excel financial modeling
  • Development of presentations
  • Attending and coordinating site tours
  • Market research and data analysis
  • Performing various analyses to assist in making investment, capital and sale decisions
  • Leading due diligence and execution of transactions
  • Developing budgets and presenting asset valuations
  • Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
  • Assisting with legal negotiations and due diligence

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
