Program Description:

Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program spans 10 weeks, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.

 

Job Description:

Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies Group offers Summer Analysts experience on a professional team whose work involves the financing of real estate-related companies, portfolios of real estate assets and individual properties worldwide.  Summer Analysts at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of real estate investing and can expect to be staffed on a number of transactions at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Analysts are expected to assume integral roles on deal teams. Summer Analysts are involved with the development, structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend both internal and external meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.

 

Real Estate Debt Strategies, Asset Management

BREDS asset management Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of real estate loan asset management and be staffed on a number of assignments at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, team members have the opportunity to assume integral roles on projects and deal teams.

 

Summer Analyst work may include:

  • New loan originations
  • Acquisitions of legacy loans, CMBS, and other forms of public and private debt
  • Restructurings
  • Recapitalizations
  • Management and servicing of a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments

 

Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis and modeling
  • Market research, asset tours, borrower relationship management
  • Competitive analysis
  • Developing investment committee presentations
  • Assisting in the execution of transactions including loan modifications, lease approvals, property releases, capital expenditure fundings, and due diligence
  • Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
