Industrial Engineering Intern

  • Assist in performing and summarizing time studies
  • Conduct labor standards audits, to include process time observations, and historical data reconciliation
  • Assist in the development of manpower requirements
  • Observe Production processes and investigate and propose new or improved methods and systems relative to reducing process costs
  • Maintain Production department performance reports

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years of completed curriculum
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Must be a US person as defined by ITAR
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment medical exam including drug screen
  • Must be able to obtain Department of Army Police unescorted access to the JSMC
  • Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering practices
  • Basic project management and organizational skills
  • Good written and oral presentation skills
  • Proficient with computers and software including MS Office
  • Must have the ability to work in both production and office settings
  • Must be able to work in a teaming environment with bargaining unit employees
