Industrial Engineering Intern
- Assist in performing and summarizing time studies
- Conduct labor standards audits, to include process time observations, and historical data reconciliation
- Assist in the development of manpower requirements
- Observe Production processes and investigate and propose new or improved methods and systems relative to reducing process costs
- Maintain Production department performance reports
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years of completed curriculum
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Must be a US person as defined by ITAR
- Must pass background check and pre-employment medical exam including drug screen
- Must be able to obtain Department of Army Police unescorted access to the JSMC
- Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering practices
- Basic project management and organizational skills
- Good written and oral presentation skills
- Proficient with computers and software including MS Office
- Must have the ability to work in both production and office settings
- Must be able to work in a teaming environment with bargaining unit employees
