2024 - Early Career, Actuarial Analyst - United States, Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL

Our Actuaries are on the frontlines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and establishing reserves for AIG’s major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. Actuaries also support AIG’s business units, with responsibilities for technical pricing, product development analytics, building rating tools, and performance measurement. Actuaries collaborate across multiple departments, including Claims, Marketing, Operations and Financial Management.

Actuarial Program:

  • Actuarial Development Program – The Program encourages and supports the education and training of Actuarial Students pursuing actuarial examinations in the knowledge and professional skills relating to actuarial practices and to develop future leaders for AIG.  Benefits of the program include:
    • Dedicated study time – Up to 30 hours of company-provided study time per exam hour for each first attempt at a given exam
    • Exam-related expenses, including study material
    • Compensation
    • Association Meetings for Conferral of Designation
    • Professional Actuarial Association Membership Dues
    • Continuing Education
  • Rotations (following the actuarial program) – We are excited to provide a variety of professional opportunities for Actuarial Students to develop an advanced and well-rounded actuarial skillset following their 2 years with us in the Actuarial Development Program. Actuarial Students will gain valuable work experience through exposure to multiple rotations. Upon completion of the Actuarial Development Program and further rotations, the newly credentialed actuaries will have gained a variety of relevant work experiences enabling them to have a broader organizational perspective

AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.

Required:

  • Candidate for Bachelor's degree to be received no later than June 2024 (unofficial transcript required upon application).
  • BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area
  • Complete one or more Actuarial Exam(s) by March 2024

 

Program Start Date

The Early Career Analyst program will start at the end of July 2024. 

 

Locations

Early Career Analyst positions are in-person opportunities and are available in Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL. When we work in the office, we experience greater connections with opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and learn together.
