Research Coordinator

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research
Coordinator I is responsible for carrying out multiple complex research
protocols. The study is on healthy aging, the risk of falls, and physical activity for those who are 65 and older.


Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a social, behavioral or health
science field plus some working experience in a related field
However, we will consider candidates with a HS diploma or
GED/equivalent and 4+ years of health-related experience
• Bilingual or multilingual, ability to communicate proficiently in both
English and any of Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese
• Proficient in use of productivity software (Word, Excel, Access,
Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, both the oral and written necessary to
interact with study participants, community organizations, and
project team members
• Excellent organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to off-site locations
Additional Considerations:
• Knowledge of geography and communities in Central and
Northeastern Massachusetts
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in working in communities

• Knowledge of federal requirements for the conduct of human
studies
• 1 year of related experience

This is a Grants & Contracts (MTA/GRACE) bargaining unit position, Grade
P13.
