Liability-Driven Investment Analyst

POSITION SPECIFICS

Location of Position:                  Boston, MA

Start Date:                                 July 15, 2024 

Program Length:               Four-year program; option to apply internally for any open positions as program completion approaches

Office Requirement:         Investment Analysts are required to be in their assigned office 12-16 days per month

Base Pay/Salary:                $80,000 / year 

Additionally, offer includes sign-on bonus and you will be eligible to participate in firm’s Annual Performance Bonus program.

Investment analyst PROGRAM

Investment Analysts (IAs) collaborate with Investment Directors to provide investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to our clients. In this role, IAs will gain broad exposure to asset classes and investment strategies, while being exposed to clients and deepening their investment knowledge. This position is dedicated to the Pension practice within Global Investment Services.  The role has a specialized quantitative focus on pension models and delivering pension-specific investment expertise to client teams. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside pension fixed income and quantitative specialist Investment Directors, providing practice-wide and firm-wide support to investment teams
  • Maintain and develop quantitative pension models, such as, asset allocation, risk, forecasting and attribution
  • Direct responsibility for 2 to 6 clients, including portfolio oversight, materials preparation and client communication

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with a record of high academic achievement, 3.3 GPA minimum 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and prioritization, and an ability to operate effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated interest in investments and the capital markets with eagerness to learn
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg and prior coding experience preferred
  • Prior actuarial and/or fixed income experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or restriction now or in the future
