Sales Quality Specialist 2

SUMMARY

Under supervision performs work that is varied and may be somewhat technical in nature but involves limited responsibility for final decisions, some evaluation, originality or ingenuity required, know and applies fundamental concepts and procedures, may check work or support or earlier levels of technical or staff workers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares documentation and coordinates customer service needs with other functions as required.
  • Serves as customer contact regarding quality matters.
  • Perform quality support functions, including traveling and communicating with customers and suppliers.
  • Work with the customers and suppliers on issues relating to the quality and performance of the material.
  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation of product complaints.
  • Monitor risk management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to management and sales staff.
  • Track, document, and report quality KPIs.
  • Works with immediate supervision.
  • Performs assigned tasks.
  • Knows fundamental part quality and change management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • May direct work of support personnel.
  • Customers are typically domestic.  Some suppliers are international.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred majors in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
  • Preferred 3-6 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Experience in supply chain management and familiarity in coordinating activities with warehouses and logistics service providers.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize and support multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
