POSITION OVERVIEW

Kate Farms seeks a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Data Steward Intern. This position is intended to be 15 to 20 hours per week for a period of 6 months. As the #1 plant-based formula company, we are dedicated to providing high-quality nutrition for individuals who require specialized dietary needs. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who have experienced the transformative power of food firsthand.

As a Data Steward Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in Veeva, MDM, and other downstream systems. Working closely with the team, you will maintain and organize our data and identify improvement areas. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting Veeva and Salesforce systems in a thriving, fast-paced organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Duplicate Account Review and Merging
  • Manage Account Data Change Requests (DCRs)
  • Manage Sample Approvals Setup and Assign Ownership
  • Other Data Integrity Initiatives
  • Maintain and update databases to ensure accurate and up to date information
  • Monitor data quality and resolve any inconsistencies or errors
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement data-cleaning processes and best practices
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns
  • Assist in the development of data governance policies and procedures
  • Support data integration and migration efforts
  • Provide ad hoc data support to internal stakeholders

 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use or quickly learn to use Salesforce and Veeva systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry
  • Familiarity with data management concepts and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA)  and New York City’s Human Rights Law (NYCHRL) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado or New York City. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado or NYC, the following information may not apply. The hourly rate for this position ranges between $18.00 - $20.00. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Kate Farms salary range for this position. This range will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, internal pay alignment, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Kate Farms’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
