Job Description

With constantly growing demand for financial services for small businesses, we are hiring more Financial specialists to join our team.  As a Funding Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting SMBs with their financial needs, facilitating the funding process, and building lasting relationships with our clients.

In doing so, here’s what your day-to-day will look like: 

  • Client Consultation: Engage with business owners to understand their business needs, assess financial situation, and provide expert advice on suitable funding solutions.
  • Application Process Management: Guide clients through the funding application process, ensuring all required documentation is submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Client Outreach: Actively reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, or other communication channels to introduce PMF's financial products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide accurate and detailed information about PMF's products, terms, rates, and repayment options to clients.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments on funding applications, analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to make informed funding decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional funding or cross-selling.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the underwriting and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Training: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in the financial landscape to contribute to the development of innovative funding solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field (or ongoing)
  • 1-3 years sales experience (optional, but a plus) 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Ability to meet targets and work in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Technologically savvy: proficient in Microsoft and Google suite
