Assistant Video Investor

Job Summary 
The Assistant, Video Investor is responsible for supporting video media buying and campaign management across various clients within Horizon Next. This individual will assist in researching, developing, and maintaining media buys across all video channels including Local, National, and OTT while managing and tracking data and billing information.  

What You’ll Do 

  • Media Schedule & Data Management - 60% 
  • Assist with day-to-day account maintenance tasks inclusive of tracking station airings and managing pre and post log data entry and reporting 
  • Track weekly estimated spend for Local markets and National campaigns 
  • Work with Horizon Next traffic department to ensure stations are running correct commercials 
  • Responsible for gathering rates, inputting into media management system and sending schedules to networks 
  • Work closely with network sales team to promote advantageous relationships 
  • Assist Video Investor with managing weekly and monthly market budgets and deliverables (viewership and response data) 
  • React quickly to campaign results, and implement required optimizations as directed 
  • Invoice Reconciliation - 20% 
  • Responsible for managing weekly and monthly budgets  
  • Track credits and issue credit memos 
  • Work closely with Horizon Next billing department to reconcile all monthly invoices 
  • Training & Development - 20% 
  • Attend campaign results meetings/calls with client and Business Solutions teams, responsible for providing recap and/or meeting notes  
  • Attend and participate in vendor and internal meetings 
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies that affect the buying discipline 
  • Participate in Horizon Media’s Training programs

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work or internship experience 
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
