Junior Graphic Designer

The ConnectWise Jr. Graphic Designer will work as part of the internal marketing department of a leading software company in Tampa Bay. Working closely with the Brand Team and Project Manager, this position will use knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for online and print marketing, advertisements, videos, communications, and informative / instructional materials as needed. They will also take a large role in understanding our brand guidelines and be able to give outsource direction and deliverable review to freelancers and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop graphic elements for various web, print and multimedia formats 
  • ie PowerPoint presentations, banner ads, sales collateral, signage, misc. web assets, etc. 
• Work with Design Manager and freelancers/vendors to assure all ConnectWise material meets developed standards and consistency 
• Support the production process by preparing files for print or digital distribution
• Become a ConnectWise brand guidelines expert and be able to educate freelancers/vendors on them and review deliverables   
• Assist in maintaining design files, assets, and project documentation
• Support other graphic and video needs as required

• Knowledge of design principles, including layout, typography, color, balance, composition and current design trends – demonstrated via a digital portfolio showcasing previous design work 
• Ability to work in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint 
• Ability to function as a contributing team member and interact positively and openly with peers, other departments, and external resources 
• Aptitude to work constructively under stress in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines and brand standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Time-management skills, able to complete all design requests in allotted time 
• Good written and oral communication skills 
• Familiarity with Workamajig and/or ability to learn the project management system through detailed training 
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles (preferred but not required)

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations

• The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s in marketing, graphic design or a related field 

Working Conditions

• Tampa based
• 2-3 days a week in the Tampa HQ office
