Membership & Operations Intern

Role Summary:  

We are currently seeking a summer intern for the Membership & Operations team for Marchay's Summer 2024 internship program! The dates for this internship are roughly from June 15 to August 15, with flexibility for the right candidate.

As a summer intern, you will be providing direct assistance and support to the senior team members. The ideal candidate is a student with a keen interest to enter the luxury travel planning industry. This role would be great for a student pursuing business development, marketing, public relations, hospitality, communications, and of course, luxury travel and tourism. You must be highly-structured and process oriented to be successful in this role. For the right candidate, there could be opportunity to return for a full-time position after graduating. 

This internship gives you the opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking, new model in luxury travel with a fast-growing company. You will learn and work alongside some of the most talented travel advisors, while also getting an inside look at how the major players in the hospitality industry operate. 

What you will do: 

  • Gain experience working with a variety of departments; we want you to learn as much as you can during your time with us.
  • Tap your love for travel; learn how the team curates trips tailored to each member
  • Work with the Membership & Operations team on strategic projects that are actively helping the company grow and advance
  • Lead and tackle projects that are essential to Marchay's operation and growth

Qualifications: 

  • Must be a rising college junior or senior
  • Must work 32 hours per week (8 hours/day, 4 days a week) within a 9a-6p ET timeframe, Monday-Thursday, from roughly June 15 to August 15 (with possible flexibility)
  • Professional mentality

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent time-management
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15/hour
