Materials Support Intern

Job Summary: Join us as a Materials Support Intern and dive into the world of pre-order customer care and support in the realm of materials exploration. This internship offers hands-on experience in assisting with specification support, design collaboration, and maintaining organized sample inventories. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our team to ensure timely and professional communication throughout the design, specification, and procurement processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Achieving Outreach Goals:
  • Support outreach efforts by contacting A & D firms with updated materials information.
  • Help manage leads generated from marketing activities and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Assist in conducting material presentations and instructional courses.
  1. Support Customers:
  • Aid in assisting diverse customer types, including architects/designers and contractors.
  • Assist in managing project files and communication channels with customers.
  • Support the tracking of project progress and communication of updates to specifiers.
  1. Assist the Estimating Department:
  • Help ensure thorough documentation of project details, including material specifications and timelines.
  • Assist in maintaining complete project files for estimating and customer communication.
  • Support the follow-up process to retain Sensitile specification.
  1. Maintain Sample Inventory:
  • Assist in identifying and labeling samples accurately for client use.
  • Support the preparation of sample selections based on project specifications.
  • Aid in maintaining a well-organized inventory of standard samples.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in materials, design, or related fields.
