Diplomacy & Global Relations Summer Internship

A.S.E. Global Bridges is a New York based non-profit established in 1997 known for fostering a bilateral dialogue through Arts, Sports, and Education between people of the US, Europe, and Eurasia. ASE's initiatives promote a dialogue of mutual understanding, respect, and shared values, and are valued by participants, staff, alumni, as well as by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs, American Councils for International Education, and others.

We are excited to share our new Diplomacy & Global Relations: From Theory to Practice Internship (July 14 - Aug. 10, 2024). Participants will have the opportunity to learn from and engage with high-level representatives of the US, Eurasia, and other regions and to develop a capstone project that explores the role of arts, sports, and education in facilitating cross-cultural/multinational dialogue. The internship will carry over to a 3-week staff position at ASE’s John Cranko School Summer of Stuttgart Ballet Intensive (JCS SI), during which participants will use the skills they’ve learned to foster a community of globally-minded and collaborative elite student dancers, while continuing to develop their leadership, communication, teamwork, and public diplomacy skills. The John Cranko School, the official school of the Stuttgart Ballet, is internationally renowned and a collaborator of ASE's Bridges to a Shared Future Through Dance, an initiative under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State.

ASE will be selecting a cohort of about 15 college students from across the US and overseas who are interested in International Relations, Slavic & Germanic Languages/Cultures, Performing Arts, and education.
