Medical and Legal Analyst

Summary

Weitz & Luxenberg is currently seeking a Medical and Legal Analyst for our DMDL (Drug and Medical Device Litigation) department. The ideal candidate has a science or public health background with research experience. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Efficiently review, organize, and summarize medical research for attorneys;
  • Streamline multiple methods of communication between Attorneys to oversee the completion of matters;
  • Stay abreast of new developments for litigations and determine how it may impact our clients;
  • Maintain medical literature libraries for all DMDL litigations;
  • Conduct individual case reviews, case evaluations and medical records for current and new litigations;
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, public health professionals and expert witnesses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree is required;
  • 3-5 years of full-time work experience;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and stay organized;
  • Have good interpersonal skills with attention to detail; 
  • Be a team player with a can-do/will-do attitude.

The annualized salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000.

The referenced salary range is based on the Firm's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
