HUD Compliance Summer Intern

C+C Apartment Management LLC is recognized as an industry leader in management and real estate operations.  Our team manages the day-to-day operations of over 18,000 residential dwelling units across approximately 400 multi-family buildings throughout the New York Tri-state area.  The C+C portfolio contains market rate, mixed market rate, affordable and full tax credit/affordable properties.

Our mission is to provide exceptional property management services that meet the diverse needs of our various constituents, including our residents, the local community, government and financing agencies, and the owners of the properties. C+C offers a full breadth of management services to improve and enhance a property’s revenue, cost control measures, maintenance, financial reporting, and resident relations.  

 

What You’ll Do

The HUD Compliance Intern will work alongside the Director of HUD Compliance assisting with the creation of reporting templates and updating existing policies and procedures. There will also be opportunities to work on small special projects as needed with other HUD Compliance team members.

 L+M offers a comprehensive intern program.  During the ten-week program, interns will gain exposure to the industry, means and methods of construction, tour several jobsites, attend a lunch with company leaders, and make a presentation on lessons learned to senior management. Specific duties will vary depending on the team but include tasks similar to these:

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data cleanup by analyzing Yardi reports.
  • Assist with creating new HUD Compliance reporting templates.
  • Assist with creating and updating policies & procedures distributed by HUD Compliance Department.
  • Assist with updating marketing plans for HUD properties.
  • Assist with small special projects as needed.

 

 Who We Want

  • Undergraduate student, preferable Sophomore or above.
  • Strong interest in or experience with data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Self-starter who has a track record of being able to manage tasks independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
