As a UX Operations Intern, you will work directly with talented individuals and guidance from departmental leaders, you will…

  • Join the growing UX Operations team at ResMed to help us maintain, support, and improve current programs, including onboarding, professional development, tooling, communications management, large meeting planning and facilitation, collecting team feedback, and operations.
  • Learn more about resources, processes, and frameworks to facilitate the team in scaling and assist in navigating changes as the Global UX Team and ResMed adapt to the growing needs of the people who rely on our products.
  • With help from the UX Operations team, you will develop your skills to manage projects, empower teams to make informed decisions, work to build consensus, craft clear communications, enable successful outcomes.

The right candidate for our internship will be expected to know commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the UX Design and Research processes and rely on mentorship, instructions, and pre-established guidelines

to perform the job's functions.  

 

This is preferred to be a hybrid role located at our ResMed headquarters in San Diego, CA. Candidates will be asked to be available to participate in remote team meetings. This position is also open to remote candidates. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2024; program dates are May 20, 2023 – August 9, 2024, OR June 17, 2024 – September 6, 2024
  • Product Design, Human Computer-Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related field of academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
  • Portfolio that showcases managing projects that involved stakeholders and/or clients.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Portfolio of showcasing UX Design, UX Research, and/or UX Operations projects from school or previous internships.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining systems and processes that enabled both UX Designers and Researchers.
  • Awareness and strong interests of Agile and Project Management tools.
  • Great interpersonal relations, team cooperation and communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to medical technology industry and a career with ResMed.

 

Pay Range:

We are shaping the future at ResMed, and we recognize the need to build on and broaden our existing skills and continue to attract and retain the world’s best talent. All Interns will be hired through our staffing provider partner and will not be a direct employee of ResMed, your Recruiter will provide more details. 

Individual pay decisions will be made by our staffing provider partner and are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Base Pay Range for this position: $24.50 - $32.00/hr
