Site Director Elementary School
The Site Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations running a Before and/or After School program at one of our elementary school or YMCA sites. The Site Director is responsible for the supervision, planning, and implementation of their program while acting as a role model for other staff and youth in the program. This role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow with us!
Shift: 6:45 - 8:30a and/or 2:30 – 6:00p Monday through Friday following the school year schedule
Site Directors can be full-time or part-time depending upon the program location
Pay Range: $18 - $22/hr

- YMCA of Greater Londonderry
- YMCA of the Seacoast
- YMCA of Strafford County
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and implement the daily program and curriculum at a site (before and/or after school hours)
- Adhere school site program to NH Child Care Licensing regulations and maintain appropriate files
- Implement our Character Development curriculum components and role model Y core values
- Supervise, train and mentor site staff and assigned volunteers
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with school/administrative staff and parents
- Additional hours available during no school days, vacation week programs, and during our summer camp
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and have at least one of the following:
(1) A bachelor’s degree in elementary education or recreation, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university;
(2) An associate’s degree in early childhood education, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university;
(3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program or elementary school;
(4) A total of 12 credits in early childhood education, human growth and development, education or recreation, from a regionally accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children
