Norwood Recreation Site Supervisor

The Norwood Recreation Department is looking for Site Supervisors for the Summer 2024 season! This job would be ideal for a candidate who loves the outdoors, being around children, and has strong leadership and management skills. We are looking for responsible, energetic, outgoing candidates who want to have a fun eight weeks of summer. We have different age groups for kids to work with from 2nd to 8th grade! 

Requirements:

• Age 19+
• Education, Recreation or Sport Management Majors (Preferably)
• Has a valid driver's license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Obtains a valid CPR & First Aid Certification
• Strong leadership and verbal skills
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Able to work at least 6 hours a day outside for 5 days a week
• Able to supervise kids from grades 2-5
• Able to work with and supervise camp counselors from ages 14-18
• Able to work and communicate with Camp Director
• Able to speak to parents promptly given a certain situation
