Stage Management Internship

JOB TITLE: Stage Management Internship 

LOCATION: Goodman Theatre: 170 N. Dearborn Street – Chicago, IL 60601  

REPORTING TO: Stage Management 

HOURLY RATE: $16.00 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

DATES: 04/09/2024 – 05/20/2024 

 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Goodman Theatre seeks a Stage Management Intern to be a member of the Stage Management team for Goodman’s production of English. The SM Intern will join the Stage Management team starting with pre-rehearsal preparations through the show's opening. 

 

This is a non-equity position with an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Assist Stage Management team with daily preparations for rehearsal 

Prepare and update paperwork for each show 

  

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to prioritize tasks and be very detail oriented, work collaboratively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude 

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
