Commercial Real Estate Analyst

CRE Asset Advisors is seeking candidates interested in an internship with a small commercial real estate advisory firm. This is an opportunity to work closely with commercial real estate professionals who have experience as brokers, appraisers and corporate executives.  The internship will provide a solid foundation of experience in market research, property analysis and cash flow modeling as it relates to investment opportunities. Candidates will gain exposure to commercial real estate appraisal, real estate debt acquisition and asset management considerations corresponding to a variety of property types, including but not limited to: multi-family, office, industrial, retail centers and self-storage facilities.

Primary responsibilities will include: 

•          Geographic and industry sector research in order to identify positive and negative market trends

•          Coordinate information regarding market data, occupancy data, expense analysis, aerials, maps, rent competitors and sales, comparables

•          Report writing to summarize research and analysis findings

•          Perform financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel

Experience with MS Word and Excel Required.
