  • Develop communications strategies to expand the reach and engagement with local area schools, including both email and phone outreach
  • Monitor pending legislation on PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) and facilitate outreach through various means of communication to inform and mobilize MBCC supporters and Massachusetts legislators
  • Research and identify potential conferences, health fairs, and other environmental or health-related virtual and in-person events for MBCC to participate and attend these events as MBCC’s representative, interfacing with the public and sharing vital health information on ways to reduce toxic exposure as part of the Let’s Talk Prevention Program
  • Facilitate outreach through various means of communication to drive awareness of community education materials available on the MBCC website
  • Conduct audits of the MBCC website and identify areas in need of enhancement to ensure that the MBCC website is a key resource for relevant health content
  • Draft blog posts and other content as needed
  • Research and identify breast cancer support information and resources as needed to be added to the MBCC website

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, English fluency a must
  • Detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
