Principal is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic and experienced Marketing Consultant. In this role you'll support, drive, and implement the delivery of marketing campaigns and communication strategies for the management team and financial advisors.  

In addition, this position will be responsible in assisting to achieve sales growth goals through marketing initiatives, increased advisor efficiency, client retention, and driving a customer first culture. These goals will be achieved by collaborating with the advisors on each of their individual marketing needs, partnering with regional marketing consultants to find innovative ways to reach and retain our clients, and completing tactical campaigns. This role offers a good balance between team support responsibilities and independent project-based work.

In this diverse role, here's some of the types of things you'll do:

  • Assist management and advisors in developing and implementing marketing programs and support materials, that will enable advisors and management to effectively penetrate target segments to attract new business and maintain existing business.
  • Complete tactical marketing tasks that align with advisor marketing plans.
  • Promote and align resources needed for advisors to improve business development efforts and meet financial objectives.
  • Regularly prepare reports that track marketing activity of advisor and regional office campaigns.
  • Track and analyze metrics, develop standard processes to drive traffic and increase engagement with Principal and advisor content on social platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing timelines and different partners such as marketing plan process & review of advisor marketing goals and needs as well as timely follow-up and execution..
  • Design, produce and distribute regional monthly newsletter and coordination of various webinars, social events and recruiting/branding meetings.
  • Develop a complete and detailed knowledge of our brand to be strategically used locally, including providing counsel and support for specific brand requests around material development and Compliance review.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone with:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years related experience in marketing or sales support
  • Good understanding of the business use of social media platforms including, but not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
  • Strong business sense and ability to understand and apply marketing strategies and systems 
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational and relationship building skills
  • Proactive and determined, ability to prioritize assignments, adapt to changing priorities and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expertise in marketing strategies; proven track record to innovate, motivate, and generate effective marketing programs.

Preferred skills include:

  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms is highly preferred.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$23.32 - $33.17 / hour

Time Off Program

Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

This position will be an onsite role in either the Tampa or Miami office.
