UWB System Engineer - Entry Level

Job Summary

Looking for a UWB System Engineer to join the UWB Modem Systems team.

  • This position will equip an ambitious candidate with the expertise and experience to build a career in Positioning Systems or embedded systems Engineering.
  • This position will involve working closely with R&D team members in various System, RF Analog, Digital Hardware and Software roles.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Characterize and analyze system level performance of our UWB solution
  • Work with senior engineers to develop a prototype of our UWB technology for use in mobile devices


Job Qualifications

  • Recent or soon-to-be graduate holding a Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
  • Up to 2 years experience, including internships.
  • Good understanding of wired and wireless signal processing, DSP, and lab validation
  • Familiarity with 802.15.4 is a plus.
  • Good understanding and experience coding in C++, Python, Linux, C# and app development
  • Preferred: Background in WiFi, BLE, and lab experience
  • Team player with ability to work well with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion to do winning innovative work.

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.
Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$110,000 to $151,300 annually
