Intern, Quality Assurance

RESPONSIBILITIES

PROMETRIKA works in a regulated (medical) industry. Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring that work is performed according to approved procedures, that personnel are trained on those procedures, and that records are properly maintained.  Working in QA gives you the opportunity to work with all areas of the company and to get a birds-eye view of the overall processes used in our industry. Responsibilities for the Intern, Quality Assurance Include: 

  • Administration of PROMETRIKA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including reviewing documents, sending them for electronic approval, notifying users of new and updated documents, filing documents electronically, and reminding users of any training required.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including creating new user accounts, posting new revisions of SOPs, and assigning required training)
  • Generation and publishing of Monthly QA metrics
  • Input records into our QA tracking system
  • Send initial startup training information to new hires
  • Obtain and file online and paper training documents 
  • Create and manage training folders, including adds, changes, terminations
  • Create and manage online document repository accounts for client audits
  • Review documents related to testing of computer systems
  • Define, make, and test configuration updates to the QA tracking system
  • Review of completed checklists for each project

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE 

  • Should be in process of attaining a Bachelor’s degree
  • In addition, interest in Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Effective organization skills, attentive to details 
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in face-to-face conversation, by telephone, and by email
