Social Media Coordinator

Candidates should be undergraduates or graduates with social media expertise and a passion for music.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting weekly to Sound of Boston’s social media platforms
  • Monitor Sound of Boston's social channels as well as local music news
  • Create posts promoting Sound of Boston content, local artists and local shows
  • Work with Promotions team to run ticket giveaway contests
  • Pitch ideas for increasing engagement with social audiences

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram
  • Strong writing and grammar skills
  • Ability to responsibly represent the Sound of Boston brand and engage our audience
