Associate Solutions Consultants in DataArt Solution Advisors (DSA) operate at the intersection of technology, design, consulting, and product management. Associates will manage both client-facing projects and research & development projects to gain exposure to all aspects of Solution Design, including UI/UX design and research, architecture, sales engineering, and risk/strategy management. In addition, Associates will also play a critical role in supporting numerous internal leadership initiatives critical to DSA’s scaling objectives, ranging from writing research-based thought leadership articles to assisting with future recruiting initiatives and supporting a course on product management at Williams College taught by Adjunct Professor and DSA founder, Allan Wellenstein.

  • Who: Graduates from Spring 2024 or before. All majors are encouraged to apply. No prior computer science or engineering experience necessary.
  • What: A full-time position as an Associate Solutions Consultant within DSA.
  • Where: Our global headquarters in NYC, at 475 Park Avenue South.
  • When: Applications are due on Monday, 4.1.22. Planned start date is 9.2.

What We Do:

DataArt is a global company that designs, develops, and supports custom software solutions for clients across a variety of industries (healthcare, finance, travel, media, etc.). DataArt's primary business is in outsourced software development, for which we employ over 6,000 full-time architects, developers, project managers, product managers, and designers worldwide.

Within DataArt, the DSA team specializes in reducing risk and maximizing the value of these projects–focusing specifically on those that require an additional layer of product management (i.e., more definition around “what” gets built “when”). Our consultants come from a diverse array of backgrounds, and work closely with our clients to understand their business and customers, identify the right problems to solve, define and align on requirements, and plan for strategic product implementation.

What We’re Looking For:

The DSA is currently in an exciting phase in our commercial expansion: we are growing year-over-year in both the scope of accounts and number of clients. To accomplish this, we are growing our team of Associate Solution Consultants. Given the multifaceted nature of this role, we are seeking individuals who excel at context-switching between various responsibilities, projects, and ways of thinking. An ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between developing consulting materials for the DSA, pursuing new commercial opportunities, communicating with the client and technical development teams, and performing research on cutting-edge technologies and commercial trends.

Due to the fast-paced nature of our work, Associates will quickly integrate into the group and have considerable authority in shaping their professional experiences. Those who are confident in taking initiative with projects, building relationships across both the DSA and DataArt, and executing on their initiatives will excel. Associates should be quick learners; while it is not expected to have experience with building or engineering technology, Associates should be motivated to ask insightful questions, conduct efficient and salient research, and seek help when needed.
