Collections Internship

The Summer 2024 Collections intern will help with the management of new collections acquisitions and incoming loans for exhibitions, including preparation of checklists, correspondence, and inventories. Additionally, the intern will assist with the museum collections database—The Museum System (TMS)—uploading new images, assisting in standardizing data, and cataloging recent acquisitions. The intern will learn how to properly house, record, catalogue, and organize collections items, and gain invaluable work experience as part of the daily operations of the Museum's collections department. This position requires excellent organizational and computer skills and attention to detail. This position is fully on-site.
