Activity Guide

Do you enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures? Look no further! FLS International is seeking new Activity Guides to join our team.

FLS International is an English Language School that welcomes international students from all over the world looking to learn English. Our students are all ages and come from an extremely diverse range of cultures.

As an Activity Guide you will introduce our students to US culture and the many experiences Los Angeles has to offer.

A typical Activity Guide will:

-Take a small group of students to a Los Angeles attraction like Disneyland, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures or Santa Monica Pier.

-Assist them during transit and at the destination.

-Prepare beforehand, and share with them any and all knowledge about Los Angeles and the destination like a tour guide.

-Engage and encourage students to practice their English and get to know one another.

-Act as the professional face of FLS International and represent the company throughout the city.

-Manage, communicate and troubleshoot any and all issues while on an Activity.

This is an excellent position for someone at all interested in Education, International Studies or Linguistics!

An excellent candidate will have the following qualifications:

-Tour guide or camp counselor experience.

-Experience working with non-English speakers.

-Strong familiarity with Los Angeles.

-A flexible schedule

-A willingness to learn and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.

DAYS/HOURS: THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION (hours varying based on enrollment and season with significant increases in available hours during summer).
