Intern - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Job Description
- Under the supervision of the director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Assist in the planning, set up and implementation of various DEI initiatives and projects that will be assigned at the time of hire.
- Tasks may include: performing benchmarking, creating content for DEI communication and intranet, assisting Employee Impact Groups in activity implementation, etc.
Requirements
- Intern candidates must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
- Our internships are unable to accommodate OPT.
- Interns are responsible for their own housing.
- Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program, pursuing related undergraduate studies and interest in Human Resources, Communications, Social Media, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Corp. Social Responsibility.
- Be classified as a minimum of a sophomore.
- Must be planning to return to school at the end of their break

- Passionate for advancing diversity and inclusion and adding value through their work.
- Growth mindset – openness to learning from personal experience and from different ideas.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, social media savvy.
- Analytical skills – basic understanding of data and statistics.
- Creativity and problem-solving, attention to detail, self-discipline, ability to follow directions, ask for clarification and work independently.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from all backgrounds.
- Resiliency when faced with obstacles.
- Skilled in Power point, excel, word.
