2025 Summer Analyst Position Details
Analysts are oftentimes the first touchpoint startup founders have with Bessemer. They play a role that requires an enterprising spirit, empathy, and a deep understanding of what makes a business work under the hood.

● Employment Type: Short Term, Full time Employee
● Location: On Site, New York City, NY
● Duration: 10 weeks (June 2nd, 2025 - August 11th, 2025)
● Schedule: Monday-Friday (in the office)

 

A Day in the Life
Your daily schedule and responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, deep research in the diligence, roadmap and deal-making processes, and working alongside BVP team members to help our portfolio companies flourish. The skills and experience you gain in this program are foundational to your career. Whether you pursue additional opportunities at Bessemer or elsewhere, your BVP analyst experience will be formative and open endless possibilities.

Throughout the summer Analysts will...

● Interact with 100+ CEOs in an effort to identify seed-stage to Series C startups disrupting a wide range of industries: from consumer internet and e-commerce, to mobile and cloud computing, to business software, healthcare and cleantech.
● Work closely with the firm’s partners to conduct due diligence on the investment opportunities you discover and help to develop new investment roadmaps.
● Develop an eye for identifying the most exciting sectors and business opportunities in the innovation economy, build a deep understanding of business models, and grow an extensive network of entrepreneur and VC colleagues.

● $2,200 per week (paid every two weeks)
● $2,500 relocation and housing bonus payment to defray costs in connection with your stay in the New York City area for the summer

Intern Qualifications / Skills
● Deep curiosity about technology evolution, societal trends, and entrepreneurship
● Demonstrated leadership on campus and/or beyond it
● Highly effective communication and persuasion skills
● Unrelenting determination
● Reasonable fluency in fundamental business concepts

Education & Experience
● College students expecting to graduate in the Winter 2025 or Summer 2026
● Any major or course of study accompanied by exceptional academic performance
● College students expecting to graduate in Winter 2026 or later are not eligible and should consider applying next year for a summer 2026 internship
