Business Administrator

The primary responsibilities entail overseeing client license renewals as well as preparing and finalizing new client contracts. Integral to this role is the precise record-keeping of key client contacts and model users, along with regular communication with client counterparties. Direct supervision for daily activities is provided by the Finance/HR/Business Manager, under the guidance of the Senior Vice President of Business Development.

In addition to contract administration duties, the Contract/Business Administrator assumes various responsibilities within finance, accounting, and bookkeeping, such as filing sales taxes and allocating credit card transactions. This role also collaborates with the administrative team to address human resources requirements, including recruitment, IT matters, regulatory compliance, and various administrative tasks.

Effective teamwork and communication skills are imperative for success in this position. Given the multifaceted nature of our small business's operations, this role necessitates continuous learning and adaptability to assume additional responsibilities as needed. Moreover, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and streamline operations, thereby contributing to overall productivity and effectively addressing evolving business demands and opportunities.

This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits carried out on-site.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in administrative roles, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
  3. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  5. Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  8. High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  9. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  10. Experience in project management and/or financial administration preferred.
  11. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as required.
