Regulatory Affairs Intern

This role requires the Intern to report into our Bannockburn, IL office.

Key Job Activities:

Potential responsibilities may include: 

  • Participate in meetings to support the team for projects, office hours, and potentially training sessions
  • Research requirements and background information to support projects
  • Work collaboratively and interface with multiple teams as part of project support
  • Evaluate format and content of materials using provided support resources
  • Create a database of acceptable, permitted materials by facility with ability to cross reference documentation and regulatory requirements
  • Assist OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Manager to review and create customer facing OSHA and HIPAA content

The following skills and interests would be useful in this role:

  • Interest in waste management, the environment, compliance, law, employee health and safety, healthcare, and / or sustainability
  • Self-starter and ability to work well independently as well as in team environments
  • Research capabilities
  • Data input and management in different platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to apply provided information contextually to situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and conversation

Experience:

•    Current undergraduate or graduate level student, or recent graduate
•    Motivated, energetic, ready to jump into new situations
•    Prefer students entering their junior or senior years and recent graduates
•    Ability to communicate effectively, both in written format and verbally
•    Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
•    Must be 18 years or older, with a HS diploma or equivalent
