TM Academy in Clinical Sciences & Innovation Fellow

These positions will be located in Cambridge, MA and will not have the ability to be located remotely. No travel is required for these positions.

We are ready to welcome you to the Translational Medicine Academy in Clinical Sciences & Innovation!

2 years! This is the length of our Academy training program within Clinical Sciences & Innovation (CS&I) in Translational Medicine (TM). Here, you will gain valuable training and experience to help develop your career in the field of Clinical Research Operations.
Through the TM Academy in CS&I, you will have the opportunity to gain essential knowledge in the operational and logistical aspects which support early clinical trials within an international multi-cultural Pharmaceutical research environment. Training is led by clinical operations experts, and you will have the chance to apply your own knowledge and strengths to various projects across different disease areas and types of clinical trial work.
In parallel to your Academy learning, your core focus will be to contribute and assist various CS&I groups working on clinical trials. Your contributions will support CS&I clinical teams throughout the study lifecycle and your responsibilities will develop based on your skills and interests. Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn a certificate in Clinical Research Management from Regis College, a university recognized as a Best Regional University in the North for Social Mobility. Regis collaborates with its partners to tailor programs to the meet the needs of working professionals. Convenient and flexible formats, combined with a focus on academic rigor, quality and skill development, provide students with opportunities to grow in their chosen profession.
The Academy is looking for 3 different profiles:
• Career starters: recent University degree graduate within the past 2 years (BA, BSc, MSc, PharmD or PhD)
• Career changers: professionals wanting to pivot their career into the area of clinical operations
• Career relaunchers: professionals wanting to return to work after a career break for any reason

The duration of the program is 24 months beginning September 2024.

• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently, as well as prioritizing
• Digital literacy required – Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $56,000 – $68,000 /year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
