Graduate Assistant - Speech-Language Pathology

Essential Functions

Maintain clinic files, including student clinician records, client contacts, community contacts, and practicum sites; develop and disseminate documents for clinic use and for SPTH faculty; coordinate and administer speech, language, and hearing screenings for programs admission, coordinate observation opportunities for on-campus and community observations; maintain assessment and therapy materials, including inventory and student checkout procedures; assist faculty with undergraduate course(s) and with research. Work Schedule

  • 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Days and times vary during the week.

  • As assigned by Speech-Language Pathology faculty.

 

Required Qualifications

Must be admitted into UNO Graduate College AND to the Speech-Language Pathology graduate program AND have an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Must have strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency with word processing and Excel, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on a weekly basis.

Salary

$1,449/month & Tuition remission
