Junior Copywriter

Do you have a knack for crafting compelling messages that turn window shoppers into loyal customers?

At Winback, we help e-commerce brands rekindle the spark with unengaged subscribers through smart email marketing coupled with our custom deliverability stack. We're looking for a talented junior copywriter to join our team, someone who can weave brand ethos with irresistible offers.

In this role, you'll be a superstar at:

• Writing email copy that resonates: You'll understand the subscriber mindset and craft messages that pique their interest and inspire them to take action.
• Channeling the brand voice: By immersing yourself in a brand's world (website, social media, etc.), you'll capture its unique tone and translate it into captivating email flows.
• Working independently and collaboratively: You'll be resourceful, able to find the right information to represent the brand effectively, while also thriving in a team environment.

This is a perfect opportunity for:

• Aspiring copywriters with a passion for marketing and e-commerce.
• Individuals with a keen eye for detail and a talent for crafting clear, concise, and engaging messages.
• Those who can put themselves in the shoes of a customer and understand what would compel them to click that "buy" button.

Bonus points if you have:

• A basic understanding of marketing concepts like conversion optimization and brand storytelling.
• Prior email copywriting experience.
• Experience with email marketing automation platforms.
   

This is a remote part-time position with a growth track.

• The first month will be a trial period at $15/hour for approximately 10 hours per week.
• If it's a great fit, we'll transition you to a part-time role at $1,000 per month for 40 hours per month ($25/hour equivalent).
• After 1-2 months of strong performance, you'll be eligible for a full-time offer with a competitive salary of $50,000/year + bonus + health care coverage options.
